WELCOME

The Fremont Stamp Club is a thriving group of stamp collectors. Organized in 1978, the club has continually maintained an active membership. Many visitors to the club say that they have never met a more friendly group, and that's the way we like it. The goal of our club is to make stamp collecting fun for everyone. We have collectors at all levels, ages, and collecting interests.

Our club meets on the second Thursday of each month. There is a scheduled program for each meeting. In addition, we always allow plenty of time for comments from the members and time for socializing. Our meetings are rather relaxed. We are not only club members, but we have become good friends, as well.

AUCTION NIGHTS! For those of you new to our club, members are allowed to submit up to 10 lots. The club collects 25c for each lot, whether or not the lots sells. The 25c fee is waived for lots donated to the club. Next, we hold the auction. After the auction is over, the high bidders pay for their lots. Last, sellers are paid.

Here's a few hints. Mystery lots do well. Everyone is looking for a bargain. Single stamps and small foreign sets don't usually do too well. Since you are paying 25c to put a lot in the auction, make sure your minimum bid is over 25c. It doesn't pay to shell out 25c only to have your lot sell for 25c.

Membership Dues

$5 - if you recieve the newsletter by mail, or just
$1 - if you choose to recieve it by email (PDF), in full color, with active links, etc.
